Building Strong Boards

by Jule' Colvin on December 9, 2010

We were privileged yesterday to share lunch with several of our current clients.  As the Executive Directors and staff began to share their experiences within their various agencies, the conversation soon turned to working with boards.  Some of the agencies were blessed to have strong and involved boards, but most were anxious to hear advice about how to build and recruit stronger, more engaged board members.  The staff at GrantPathways has found that this is a common  problem, especially for smaller non-profits.  With this in mind, we wanted to turn our readers onto a new study about appealing to women as donors and board members.   It is well worth the read.  The article can be found at the Charity Channel.  For more information about how GrantPathways can help your agency build a better board – give us a call!
